This is perhaps my favorite building in Vienna thus far. It serves as the city hall which houses Vienna’s mayor and other members of the city council. According to wikipedia, the building was designed in the Gothic style by Friedrich von Schmidt somewhere between 1872 and 1883.
Everytime I walk past the Rathaus I am mesmerized and end up staring at it. At night it is perhaps even more stunning.
